I believe next year will be Rodman's first year of eligibality, and he definetly deserves to be in the hall, although he most likely wont for at a least for a very long time. Rodman is one of the most underated players who is continually over shadowed by his personal life. He are some figures as to why Rodman deserves to be there: led the league in Rebounding for seven consecutive years not even bill rusell or chamberlain acomplished that feat and wilt averaged 22 rebounds a career. Winner of Five championships-he was a large factor in all five One of the best defenders in modern times If someones personal life gets in the way of eligibility then Kobe shouldn't be inducted either at the end of his career.
i concur besides he should be inducted in some other hall for his conquests outside of basketball (madonna, carmen electra)
I wholeheartedly agree. They things he acomplished, in the time and basketball period he did, are amazing. He definetly deserves to go into the hall of fame, he has certainly acomplished just as much or more than many people on that list.

I think The Worm should have a spot in the HOF hands down. If the NBA denies the vote because of his antics in the past at all, they should take a look at for one, the stats above.
For a player who is only 6-8, he must have been the best rebounder of all time. I dred to think how many boards he would put up if he was 7-0 tall. He deserves to get into the HOF for his rebounding alone. The only forward to win back to back rebounding titles. One of the best defensive players of all time. He played basketball how it should have been played, doing anything it takes to win. He was definatly overshadowed by MJ and Pip.
Absolutely. I loved Rodmans game, exactly how I play. Hustle, rebounding, defense, smart, etc. His off-court antics should have no part on whether he makes the HOF or not. The last thing I want to see the NBA's HOF do is turn in to MLB's.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">The last thing I want to see the NBA's HOF do is turn in to MLB's.</div> my thoughts exactly. the worm is a top 5 rebounder of all time, it would be stupid for him not to be in the hall.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting KL32:</div><div class="quote_post">my thoughts exactly. the worm is a top 5 rebounder of all time, it would be stupid for him not to be in the hall.</div> I would probably rate him as the greatest rebounder of all time...why? well one of the reason why wilt and rusell and even oscar robertson when he aved. a triple double was that so many more shots were taken menaing more rebounds. Rodman played in the modern age of the nba with much less shots taken and he still put hight teen rebound averages. the man averaged like 18 rebounds even while playing next to david robinson.
I think he deserves it, his rebounding stats are incredible. I think without him Chicago wouldn't have been the force they were in the 90's.
