Kinda sucks, it would of been nice to have 2 experienced PGs on the team. Oh well, I guess he sees something in Houston over LA.

I have a feeling he didn't impress the Lakers much in his workouts, which is why the team turned their attention on McKie. None of the coaches had anything to endorse DA after his workouts, but when McKie worked out everyone liked what they saw. Getting both players would have been nice, but for now it's not a big loss. Let's wait and see who the Lakers can get with the other half of the MLE now.

I'm still confused as to WHY derek anderson didn't sign with LA. He's stated he wants a big role, yet he's going to Houston that will be clogged at his position. He's also signing for less money there....He was probably going to start in LA with Mckie coming off the bench....

Andeson stated he wanted to play ab ig role on a team, The Rockets starting 2 last year was 6 2' David Wesley.

Anderson is a much needed improvement over Wesley, With the improvement of Swift and Anderson, they very much can be a 4 seed in the West.

Anderson can play a good role, but he won't have such a burdon as he would in L.A.

I find Mckie a better fit for the Laker's anyways.
