He is a nice young player who will improve in our system. Phoenix has possibly the best teachers in the game in Weber and Ivaroni. He is consistent on both ends and has the ability to be a great NBA player. The Suns are a DEEP team! It will not cost the Suns a cent as they are using the trade exception they recieved from the Hawks. I see him as a backup to Matrix and whomever plays the 2. Nice pickup now let's get Finley!

Great fit, and a shrewd trade by the Phoenix Suns. James Jones will replace the outside shooting void left from the Suns losing Joe Johnson and Quentin Richardson. He has a natural shot from behind the arc, and a quick release. He was streaky last year with his jumper, but still managed to shoot 39%.

    The Suns are DEEP indeed.

James Jones is a good player and is young. I remember seeing him play at UM. Great move by the Suns organization.

As others have said James Jones was really a good, smart move. James Jones is a great shooter that can help because they let go of there 2 shooters qrich and joe johnson like shape said. His shooting is great, you can tell Reggie taught him a thing or 2.

James is a nice shooter but I havent seen him do much else, but with his height and length, I think he should be a nice defender as well...

He is a project and backup at this point. He has the potential to be a great player abd has a shooting touch that will help us, especially with the losses of JJ and Q.

That's a really good signing cuz he can really shoot it and brings a little scoring to their bench that was lost when guys like Q Rich and JJ left. Plus he is another guy who can play guard or forward. He's a long lean guy, so he could prolly be a good defender, too.

Good signing. He is strong, athletic, a good shooter, and will give Marion some rest. Now if we could sign Finley we may go to the Finals.
