<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Tracy McGrady fills up the highlight reels like few others and may be the best pure scorer the NBA has seen since Michael Jordan, but for many fans, it?s almost impossible to cheer for the newest member of the Houston Rockets. The reason why McGrady might lead the league in detractors as well as scoring average is simple, his attitude is terrible. Toronto fans know this as well as anyone, and now followers of the Orlando Magic are aware of it too.</div> This article is basically about how,Tracy screwed oover Toronto and Orlando and that Houston maybe next. Edit:Sry forgot about it http://raptors.realgm.com/ryan.htm
This article is a year old and McGrady has proved the writer wrong so far. I don't see how he will eventually want out of Houston. The guy loves it here and will probably want to play alongside Yao for the rest of his career. Especially if the duo win a championship together.
I can definitely see the Rockets going really far this year into the playoffs, maybe even winning it all. I hope T-Mac can do it, I give props to that boy.
That article is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Those people are just pissed that he has moved on to bigger and better things and their teams suck. McGrady has been nothing short of perfect since being with the rockets, on and off the court. Dont blame Tracy if he wants to be part of a winning team. The Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic have shown that they don't care about winning... its that simple.
None of those teams were championship caliber teams. I think TMac is happy with what the Rockets are puting together.
..Also another fact. If Tracy McGrady wanted to screw the Rockets over he wouldn't help recruit like he did to get Derek Anderson and Swift. Agrees that this topic should be trashed.
Well any Rockets fan that has seen him over the last year or so would know that article is not true at all. He made it very clear that in Orlando nothing was happening and he stuck with them for ages but fortunately for us John Weisbrod was sitting back taking his time and day dreaming so he decided after a while he had enough and demanded a trade. In his interviews he would always mention how CD would listen to some of his suggestions and that this was a serious team and dedicated team.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TMacAttack:</div><div class="quote_post">This thread should be removed. Tracy McGrady is going to do what the dream did, plus some.</div> That is just going overboard. Mcgrady will not do as much as Hakeem did. You should not compare Tmac to Hakeem.
Impossible to cheer for T-Mac? How ridicuolus is that? Basically the only member of the Rockets that gets cheered is T-Mac. I remember that night T-Mac scored 13 points in 35 seconds...the little crowd that was left totally went wild...I loved it. Anyway, his attitude isn't terrible...actually I think he is very considerate, as he is a shooting forward but still gets 5-7 assists a night.
Why should this thread be locked? Just because it talks about something no one agrees with? If anything, TMac has just made that article a laughing stock with his performance last season.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">That is just going overboard. Mcgrady will not do as much as Hakeem did. You should not compare Tmac to Hakeem. </div> Why not? Im not comparing them as players, but what they achieve...you have to read more carefully. And I think TMac will do (achieve NBA championships more times) than the dream did because TMac has so much talent around him; the opportunity is so great with coaching staff and players how is it going overboard? If the spurs were not in the west these championships would be a sure thing, but I feel we can still manage...should be fun. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Why should this thread be locked? Just because it talks about something no one agrees with?</div> Because the author is critizing things that happend a couple years ago. And it is stupid: why would Tmac want to mess up what he has with the Rockets right now?
Theres no way T-Mac will try to screw the Rockets over. He is doing big things there and its only getting better in H-Town
