He is a last resort. He can still shoot and put the ball in the hoop. I think he could have a similiar season in Denver to what he had to 2 years ago in Minnesota.
I think spree would be a great addition to the Denver Nuggets. You guys need a shooter, and Spree would fit in perfectly with the type of plays you guys have. The only thing thats confusing is the attitude-problem that Spree has but again, Camby is there.
Sounds like Spree is close to signing with the Nuggets. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Star Tribune - Sid Hartman of the Star-Tribune is reporting that Denver expects Latrell Sprewell to sign with the club and join his friend and former teammate Marcus Camby. Sprewell had a disappointing 2004-2005 season and the Timberwolves showed no interest in re-signing the former member of the Knicks and Warriors.</div> Source
Signing a guy like Spree would be ideal for the Nuggets. They need another swingman, Latrell is a player who can slash, shoot, and play some what good defense. Not to mention he knows the ropes of the game, and is a veteran who can step up when you need another scoring option besides Melo and Martin.
This would be a great signing for the Nuggets, With Spree they've got it all covered their main need was a 2 gaurd and if they sign Spree they dont have to worry about that anymore and the Nuggets are suffecient if not good in all the other spots.
