I think Ainge learned his lesson when it comes to useless, unmotivated big men. Especially two of them in the same deal. But anything you can get for Banks and Blount is fine with me. Fact or Fiction - The C's will improve markedly at the point guard position.
Fact, that trade rumor about livingston and Maggette for Pierce will go down in my mind and SL14 will take the Celts to the top in the future, he's already better than any pg they have. F or F Ricky Davis will crumble this year and return to his old troublsome self

I'm going to say fact, but it's still not far from being fiction. The reason the Celtics took a high school project with so much upside is (besides the fact that Danny Ainge just couldn't believe he was still on the board at 18) they clearly have a five year plan, and don't need to rush someone along right now. There be a lot different on this team in another five years, and they seem to believe that the rookies and youngsters they're bringing along right now will wait for their rookie contracts to expire before they really start wowing people. Why they believe this, I don't know, but they seem to have their eyes on that fifth season. Who knows? Anyway... Fact or Fiction - Gerald Green will be our 12th man off the bench.

They have improved a championship team twofold with the signings of Van Exel and Finley, so at this point Miami definetly isn't a lock.

Go back through the 2002 Playoffs and look at what Toine did. Go back through the early years and see his work. He was playing CENTER his rookie year...HE GUARDED SHAQ! Did you see his seasons in Dallas and Atlanta? Nellie was jerking him around all season. In Atlanta he had NO ONE TO PASS TO THAT COULD SHOOT!
