In his 10 years in the league, Name one player who Kobe Bryant has made better.</div> Wow, all 4 stats and facts really shut everybody up. and are u kiddin me, shaq having a good series is shows exactly how bad their chemistry was. shaq just did his thing, he didnt try to help his team win at all. and i said a few other things that affected kobe. with wade, there was good chemistry so he didnt care who got the shots, they win. wow, you made my point a lot easier with those stats. thanks. plus they were injured and the pistons WERE BETTER. give them credit and quit acting like kobe choked. making a player better is PURE OPINION, i could just as easily say that nash has never made any player better, it was the coaches and system. Players dont improve by having a guy pass them the rock, they improve by being put in a good situation for them, and working to get better. the coaches should take credit, not the players.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AIRTIGHT:</div><div class="quote_post">...You forgot to post your stats</div> what stats did i need to prove my point? what do you have a problem with that requires statistics which i find very misleading.
haha... ok. Then what do you have to prove your point? What is your point? *> Your point should be that Wade is not better than Kobe

^that poll really couldn't validate Wade not being the best. Just a general basketball fan's view of the best. Half of them probably wouldn't even know Nash won MVP..
relax with the MJ comparisons people need to chill on the Wade=Jordan comparisons already. it's RIDICULOUS. The bottom line is Michael Jordan is the most competitive person in the history of professional sports. Compare just the way they acted upon winning their first title their body language. Wade looked gratified and humbled. Jordan was foaming at the mouth like he had slain all his own personal demons and he was racing through the arena like a madman. it seems like it is just basketball to Wade. it was not just basketball to MJ. it was vindication on many psychological levels. then he went out and got FIVE MORE RINGS!! The second thing is without Jordan THERE WOULD BE NO Wade. Or Kobe. He set the blueprint for this type of player. I'm not hating on Wade but he will never be Jordan.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">over who's hotter Angelina Jolie or Halle Berry. </div> Halle Berry, although Angelina isn't too far behind (I love the lips)
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting phunDamentalz:</div><div class="quote_post"> The second thing is without Jordan THERE WOULD BE NO Wade. Or Kobe. He set the blueprint for this type of player. </div> Couldn't you say that without Dr. J, there would be no Jordan? Jordan himself has made this point many times. Just as he borrowed from past great players, current players are borrowing from him. And the cycle will continue.
^^^exactly...and as far as from a marketing standpoint, yes there may not be another Jordan, but as far as skills on the court???....I can see 2 or 3 players today who might be better than MJ by the time their careers are over with.....I truly believe that players can get better with time (as they have in the past)
The one thing people forget is that there will never be a GOAT. At this point, many people consider Jordan the greatest that has played so far, but i'm 100% there will eventually be someone better. He said himself, right now there's probably a kid training out there to become better than him. If Michael was the pinnacle of the sport, then i feel sorry for the game, people will eventually crave to see "the next". I do. I'll be honest, when I see a player better than Jordan. I'll be glad to say it. It probably won't even be during my time though..
BTW, watching some of Jordans games today-- id say that 18 years ago, he was atleast 1.5 times better than Kobe today( and I'm using the "better" definition that you guys like to use.... not taking into account awards or winning or stuff like that) >> so thats excluding his awards and winning and all the things he actually accomplished; im talking about skill wise. Withstanding the fact that he was playing each game going off an <font color=""Red"">ORIGINAL PLAYING STYLE of his own </font> >>>> dont ever compare that clown to Jordan again

Out of curiosity, how did you get to dislike Kobe Bryant so much?
Its not anything about me disliking him~~ show me an earlier post of mine that was centered around me disliking him rather than actual statistics or facts. >> I can compare him or any other player in the league fairly regardless of my personal opinion of them. All I'm pointing out is something people choose for whatever reason to ignore. These dudes come out here with these ridiculous excuses about why Wade are Lebron's achievements must have some how been augmented by outside factors--- they condescend Jordan Bird or Shaq's achievements when it favors Kobe---- they fish for circumstances surrounding personality flaws to somehow dehumanize other players to the level Kobe has been with his own media troubles >>>>>>> These "fans" are the problem- not Kobe. Kobe can do whatever he wants to do, It has no affect on me as a universal fan of basketball; if anyone should be disliked it should be his ridiculous fans__ who in actuality are the one's perpertrating his bad image over the country. These people who want to incessantly keep talking about him over the last maybe 6- 7 years;- now when it finally blows up in your face here's everybody else's turn. I am not motivated by disliking him, fact is This guy isnt the best ever.... he isnt the best right now, nor has he ever been. He's not better than LBJ, He's not better than Duncan, He's not better than Nash, He's not better than Wade, He's not better than Shaq and he damn sure is not better than Jordan. If these "fans" as i'll call them, will start to value logic and sense and admit that they have been wrong all this time, and give respect to other fans and give us some of that time back--- we can easily move on. <font color=""Red"">But you see these dudes, as soon as the point has been showed they decide to become no shows.</font> It's disrespectul, cowardly--- and the fact of them being 'Kobe fans' reflects that same image on Bryant himself in someways.

Ok, activity: lets name all the elements you belive that Jordan has copied from DrJ and all the one's Kobe has copied from Jordan. ___
^^what, jordan has said many times that he has modeled his game after Julius. do you dispute this, or do you really want to go over all of that, because neither of us know really besides them.
