I wouldn't object to seeing 'ol Ervin back in Milwaukee. He is a solid vet and was nothing but a good influence on the youngsters when he was here. Now, he's not going to do much, but it can't hurt to have a good guy like E back on the team. As to Declerq, he's one guy I've always rooted for. He's not very good, but plays hard and I like that. I would have no problem with him being on our bench, either.

The Milwaukee Bucks on Monday signed free agent center Ervin Johnson, who had been with the Minnesota Timberwolves, to a one-year contract. Financial terms were not released. Johnson, 37 was coming off a two-year, $9.1 million deal with the Timberwolves and should serve as a mentor to rookie center Andrew Bogut, the top overall pick in the draft. This is the 6-11 Johnson's second stint with the Bucks. He played for Milwaukee from 1997-2003 and ranks third in team history in blocks (584) and 10th in rebounds (3,026). "Ervin is a hard-working, high-character veteran player who has always taken a team-first approach to the game," Bucks general manager Larry Harris said. Nice signing by the Bucks. Johnson is serviceable and can block some shots as well as play with heart and bring a positive attitude. The Bucks have some nice depth at C now with Bogut, Gadzuric, and Johnson.
