BUSY BARON Hangin' with the Warriors point guard on summer break is a community affair Janny Hu, Chronicle Staff Writer Sunday, August 28, 2005 Santa Monica -- The boy who never troubled his grandmother is in a state of rebellion. She has pleaded with him, chastised him, told him how ridiculous he looks with that awful beard. It's overgrown. It covers half his face. It makes him seem so menacing, she says. though it's his latest tag -- BoomDizzle -- that brings the biggest smile to his face. Ok, BoomDizzle! Looks like Ray Young will get his shot in training camp. Gotta respect BoomDizzle for his commitments to his community and friends. I think BoomDizzle is gonna be highly motivated to wash the stink of New Orleans from his career. BoomDizzle will be an allstar this year and the Warriors will be the most improved franchise in basketball. Bring on the season!
