I know it's old................But I sure HATED that that Pippen trade went sour like that. I remember when we got him, I was too excited. I always thought that we could have done something special with that team, but I think having Barkley and Pippen in the same locker room is like mixing octane and acid. It's funny, when we traded him to Portland and only got back Walt Williams, Cato, and some other people, I was so PISSED!! I thought we could have got something BETTER than that. But Cato's first preseason game, he was a BEAST!!. I mean literally, foaming at the mouth and everything. I remember Bill and Calvin raving how great Cato was playin lol. Walt played well too, it wasn't that bad of a trade actually.

To be honest, I expected more from Steve Francis though. When we first got him, I saw an Allen Iverson with a better jumpshot. His first preseason game, he broke Gary Payton's ankles [IMG](halarious) I also remember the next preseason game he did a NASTY dunk on Orlando. He crossed over Darrell Armstrong on a fast break, and LEANED on somebody [IMG]. Probably the best highlight I've seen from him. I have to say though, since all these years have passed, this is the BEST I've felt about the Rockets. Even with the Pippen trade. This Rocket squad has the potential of being the GREATEST in franchise history. GREAT ARTICLE!

Great insight! I've even transferred that page into PDF format to read it word by word later on.
