2005 Houston Comets

    I'm not sure if there is a strong following on JBB regarding the Comets, but I thought I'd make a thread that focuses on talk about them...the Comets just finished the WNBA season at 19-15 and 3rd place in the West...they begin the WNBA playoffs Tuesday at home against the Seattle Storm, reigning WNBA champs...how do yall think they will do? I think they have a great shot at going far, with Swoopes, Thompson, Snow, and Dawn Staley...thats a solid core and I think they have a great shot at reaching the Finals...

    Michelle Snow played real well this season. How old is Swoopes now anyways? Isn't she about to retire? And Lisa Leslie, isn't he around Coop's age?

    swoopes is maybe a year or 2 away from calling it quits...she averaged 18/4/3 this year and is in the front-running for MVP...aside from Swoopes, Thompson and Snow, Comets actually have depth now with canty, lyttle, arcain, and staley...

    ladies and gentleman, our Comets defeated the reigning WNBA champ Seattle Storm on Saturday in a Game 3 route to move on and play sacramento in the west finals [​IMG]...we are 1-2 against sac on the season...

    Really, does anyone watch the WNBA besides Arenaline and Shooter? Muscular and sweaty women just isn't for me.

    lol^^^^...haha, I just like to follow the comets cuz they're the home team...but dont hate on the girls man, not ALL of them are beasts...i.e. Sue bird, becky hammon, and....well, yeah, thats about it...

    It's awesome that the Comets were able to win two straight on the road after losing the home game of the series.

    Seriosly the wnba is only thing that gets me by these days since rockets off season has slowed down
