    Van exel signed with the Spurs
    I have no idea why you guys did not go after Van Exel
    he is a great player and a great leader
    and would have fit in perfectly with Phil, Kobe and the rest of the team

    Nick would never of signed for the Lakers even If offered a contract

    For two reasons really

    A-The only place he would play in was Texas

    B-He wanted to play for a contender, which the Lakers aren't.

    C - He left on bad terms when he was with the Lakers and felt he was wasn't treated properly. Which is also why he sticks to the Lakers everytime he plays against them.

    NVE a leader? i dont know about that........ but anyways, i think the reason the lakers didnt show much interest is because he may be a bad influence to andrew bynum and kwame brown.
