Fiction - If Odom molds to what he could be, they may already have the superstar they need to play alongside Kobe. Beyond that, even if he doesn't, Kobe wanted this to be his team, so I don't see them bringing in anyone else that is of a superstar calibur at this point. At this point, Turiaf playing seems like false from last I heard, but things may change, so I'm not sure if we can say that at this point. Fact or Fiction The Lakers finish higher then the Kings in the standings.

Fact, Kwame Brown was 1st overall for a reason, and he's already promising great things. From what I hear MJ wasn't the greatest of leaders while playing for the Wizards, and Rip was only traded because he had the guts to stand up to MJ, and (surprise surprise) he was traded for the very soft Jerry Stackhouse. Also, no team right now wants MJ in their front office. Under the Lakers, Kwame will develop and, in my opinion, have the same story as Jermaine O'Neal except turn out to be even better.
