I think it's fact. Right now, expectations can't be too high because of his lackluster career in Washington, but I think he's in a much better situation now and should thrive. Fact or Fiction McKie thrives as the starting PG.
Fiction he will help and play well but i dont think he will thrive as in like become a huuuge part and team doing horrible without him. Fact or Fiction: Kobe will be a top MVP candidate next season.
Fact. I'm pretty sure he's not going to win because i's usually the player that leads his team to the most W's, but with his stats (i'm projecting 30-7-6) and the "hopefully" improved team record, he's gonna get some consideration. Fact unless the Lakers sign a better center, sign a good power forward and move Kwame to the center spot, or Bynum becomes an Allstar calibur player in his first few games. F or F Kobe scores 60+ points in a game this season.
I think that's Fiction. Odom is going to be more comfortable this year since he was moved down to the 3 and Kwame is going to do more then he did in Washington. I think it could be pretty tough for Kobe to drop 60 in a game this year, but hey, anything can happen if a player gets hot and you can keep feeding him the ball. Fact of Fiction The Lakers will regret trading Caron Butler.
Fact. He's the closest thing they got to a good PF, with Odom moving to the 3. Fact or Fiction Someone will step and be that X factor that no one expected to come from the Lakers, hopefully propelling them to a playoff spot.
Fact, and I see that player being Tierre Brown or Luke Walton. Tierre's promising a good season, and Luke will thrive under Phil.
Fact - He came back for a reason and that was to coach the Lakers back to the playoffs and he's not going to give up on that. Fact or Fiction Bynum plays a bigger role then expected this year.
Fact- Now that he is being coached by Kareem, he will deliver much more than expected. Fact of Fiction Kobe's assists and rebounds will improve this year.
Fiction. His rebounds may go up, but with Aaron McKie starting and Odom playing at the 3, his assists will decrease a little bit. F/F: LA will win more than 42 games.

fiction: it will take them a while to find a rythem. But who knows which team might be an unexpected succcess or faliure? F/F Luke Walton will actully be relevent this season. (know he was not last season)
Fact. He gives them a viable option to back up Odom at the SF and someone to back up McKie at the point. Plus, Phil has seemed to like him while he was in LA, as he had trust in him in the big games last time out. Fact of Fiction Lakers win season opener.

Fiction. Unless an injury hits Odom or Kobe (knock on wood), George won't be in the starting lineup. Fact or Fiction George has his best season in a Laker uniform.
Fiction. I know people think this Laker team isn't very good, but IMO we are very strong at the 2-4 spots and I don't think there will be significant PT for him. Unless one of our guys gets injured, I don't think he will be getting more than 20mpg because he can't play neither of our weak spots, center and PG.' My bad i forgot to put up the next... Fact or Fiction: The Lakers will sign atleast one more impact player (someone in the rotation) with half of the MLE left.
