<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AznxBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">Fiction, I see two. Yao and McGrady. Neither Swift nor Anderson really have the star power to be voted into the starting lineup and I don't see neither of them having such an improvement that they'll be selected into the reserve. Fact or Fiction: McGrady will carry his Jordanesque performance from the playoffs into this regular season.</div> Fact: With our new players, the Rockets will have an easier time spreading out defenses, giving McGrady even better looks at the basket or handing out the easy assists. Last year everyone expected the ball to go to Yao or Tmac and he was double teamed a lot. He tasted blood last year and with the additions.. he will go for the kill this year. Fact or Fiction: CD will add another player by S/T before the season starts.
Fiction. Nash won't be guarding McGrady in any situation, so the chances of him being dunked on by TMac is very rare. F/F: Stromile Swift will win Most Improved Player.
Fiction: I see Stro as a possible candidate, but I see people on other teams that could win that award....alot of the guys on the Hornets the upcoming 2nd year kids can do some damage on that award....I also see guys on the Jazz such as Boozer who can have a better season.... Fact or Fiction: Stro will save Yao from being posterized during the season?
Fact. Two reasons. First of all, Stromile was one of those few people who would dare dunk on Yao and with him on our side, there are less chances of that happening 2nd, Stro will be there to block shots and help Yao defend with those long arms of his. Fact or Fiction: Ryan Bowen will score double digits in at least one game this season
Fact. Defenders will definitely leave him open, and we will need Bowen at power forward when we play a team like the Timberwolves or Mavericks who have quick and power forwards who can draw defenders out to the perimeter. Once Bowen gets hot from all the open Js, he'll have 20. F/F: Mike James will be invited to compete in the Three-point shootout.

Only because I don't know if he has ever been invited. Has mj ever competed in the 3-pt contest before in his career? F/F: Mutombo will pass Kareem on the all time shot block list this year and sit right behind Hakeem on the throne at #2. here's the all time block list to make it easier on the next person. All Time Shot Block Leaders
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> F/F: Mutombo will pass Kareem on the all time shot block list this year and sit right behind Hakeem on the throne at #2. here's the all time block list to make it easier on the next person. All Time Shot Block Leaders</div> Fact, he's only ninety three blocks away from doing so. With Yao playing roughly thirty three minutes per game, he should have enough minutes a game to get at least one block in. It would be kool to have two players that played for the Rockets sitting at the top of the all time blocks list. Fact or Fiction: McGrady will go down to be the greatest shooting guard that the Rockets have ever had.
Fact. If he brings us to a championship and continues to put up stats around 25/6/6, he would definitely surpass Clyde Drexler as the best shooting guard to ever play for us. F/F: The Rockets will remain in Houston for the next ten years.
Fact, Rockets aren't gonna go anywhere anytime soon Rocket's fan love this team too much and the team isn't gonna go off and move and break the hearts of Rocket's fans in Houston.... Fact or Fiction, Jon Barry will be invited to the 3pt. contest
^Fiction, this season he will get little playing time so while he will shoot a high percentage, his number of shots will hold him back. Fact/Fiction-The rockets will face the mavs in the playoffs (over the kings and nuggets)
Fact. I do think that the Mavs/Rockets would be the feature of the 4/5 matchup in the West, just like last season. However, I think this time that we could be the fourth seed and hold homecourt advantage, winning the series in 6 games. F/F: Yao Ming will set a new high for All-Star votes, beating out the 2.8 million votes he received last season.
fact he does it every year f/f first round of playoffs for rockets is kings at 5 and rockets at 4 with rockets winning
Ficton: I don't see the kings getting a seed that high. I forsee another first round matchup with our rival mavs, except this time we'll have the upper seed.
Fiction, they will stay healthy and contribute to the rockets success. F/F:Luther Head will be on the all rookie team?
Fiction. Head won't get enough minutes to be on the All-Rookie teams. F/F: Derek Anderson will shoot above 40% from three.
hmmm thats very tough im gonna say fact tmac yao and swift will open up the peremeter for anderson and whoever else is on the floor f/f rockets have a legitamate chance of beating spurs for division and/or western confernce championship
