    Question...

Since the Lakers waived Brian Grant this season, next season can they waive his contract in the amnesty so it won't count against salary cap ???

(example: Pacers waived Reggie Miller so they dont have to pay him anymore)

BGrant was waived under the one-time amnesty. The Lakers still have to pay his salary. The only financial relief the Lakers get is in regards to the luxury tax.

How much would the luxury tax be? I'm not up-to-date with this stuff.

They save $30Million in luxury tax over the next two years. His savings basically pay for PJax's coaching contract.
