<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Matt Carroll wouldn't have blamed the Charlotte Bobcats had they blown up the roster and plunged into free agency.

Instead, coach-general manager Bernie Bickerstaff is sticking with the young players he developed last season. Carroll figures that's a good deal for him.

"He's talked a lot about loyalty," Carroll said, after re-signing with the Bobcats. "A lot of guys talk about (loyalty), but not a lot of people really act that way."

Carroll said he signed a one-season contract, with a team option on the 2006-07 season. A 6-foot-6 shooting guard, Carroll started last season in the NBA's developmental league.

He signed with the Bobcats in February, averaging nine points and 2.4 rebounds over 25 games.

Carroll said the Utah Jazz also expressed interest, but the prospect of steady minutes in Charlotte made this an easy decision.</div>

Yeah, that's pretty much a no brainer for Matt Carroll, he'll be a Bobcat for life I think.
