I cant believe that not one person mentioned Otis Thorpe Rocket over Sir Charles Rocket everytime the question came up...Charles Barkley, was out of shape & injury prone every year in a Rockets jersey...while OT was always the intangable guy in the frontcourt...took some rebounding pressure off Hakeem..and was always amongst the team leaders in points (always like 2nd or 3rd during his rocket years), also kept his body in top notch condition...so he was always on the court for the Rockets during important stretches of the season..

Even though OT, wasnt apart of the playoffs for the 2nd chip cause he was moved to acquire Drexler, I think he was a key ingredient in both Rockets' titles. As a Rocket I'll take him easily over Barkley as a Rocket...other then the shot that sent the Rocket's home in 97' in the West finals, where did the Rockets ever go with Bark at the 4 spot...I go alot of respect for Sir Charles but like I said...

Also I would like to see Sammy's name mentioned a bit more....he was on the floor in more key spots during the back to back Rockets chips then Jet was...and it took the Rocket close to a good 5 years to find another talented young point guard( Francis in 99' or 00' forget his draft year) after giving him up .

Matt Maloney was one smooth cat. Mario Elie was pretty damn wicked also, but not as cool as Matt! Haha, I can picture Matt Maloney working out to that "She's a maniac" song. hahaha

I would take OT over Barkley too. I loved how he always used to palm the ball like it was nothing and swinging it around for the one handed passes. He was a great player that is often overlooked. I felt really bad when they traded him... at least they got drexler for him. I wish he was a part of the 2nd championship tho.. cause he deserved it.
