either way, we open with the Texans - yeah, they've got some good players on d, but they can't protect Carr - look for us to tee off on him all day.

Does anyone here honestly see the Texans beating us?

the point I'm trying to make is that we've still got some time to work out a lot of Losman's kinks - by kickoff sunday, I guarantee you we will see a different Losman.

I see the Bills beating the Texans because overall the Bills have the better team, but Losman is gonna need a lot of good play out of the TEs and RBs because Robinson and Buchanon are good CBs but the Texans dont have much talent in the middle of the field

how do you win a scrimmage?

more over, why in the hell would you even say that about one where you were totally dominated?

so what if it is a scrimmage we got to see how bad ppl are goin to run all over ur defence and we also saw in another game with the pack they fumble big time and they jus reallty need a Defence
yea u may have number 4 but u cant win games when u dont have a D

uhm See 2004 season. When your a week into practice you can't expect that will be the best are defense is gonna be. It's gonna get better than some scrimmage. Just like the Bills will to. The preseason tells you nothing. All it tells you is if your 3rd stringers are better than the other teams 3rd stringers. It's a chance for younger guys to get used to the speed of the game. The Pats got lit up last year in the preaseason going 0-4 and they did pretty good. Don't judge the defense by the preseason. Are #1 unit didn't give up a point against SD. I could easily make an argument with that but again thats might not be the result.

ah, it's nice to see someone who hates the pack more then me. I really didn't even give the packers much thought until I got on here, but after meeting Porky88 and his unwillingness to admit that Buffalo IS a better team, I harbor much ill will towards them.

Why would I admitt the Bills are the better team before the SEASON even starts. Look at the Chargers last year. Who here thought the Cheifs were a better team. Probably close to everyone. I'll tell you who is better at the end of the season. Just ask me. Hold me to it. If the Bills finish 12-4 and the Packers finish 10-6. Well then the Bills are the better team but if the Packers finish 10-6 and the Bills finish 9-7 then the Packers are the better team.

Rush defense was shaky, sure, but it's also the first game in the new defensive system and our best defensive lineman and run stopper wasn't playing. It's too early to tell how good or bad they'll be.

As for the fumbles, did you notice the rain? The weather caused the fumbles...just like it caused Nate Kaeding's three missed field goals.

I have to agree with Porky on another point as well... Why would anyone admit that one team is better than another in the pre-season? The funny thing is, though, if the Packers beat Buffalo on Saturday, you'll say "it's only pre-season." If they beat the Pack, they'll be "the best team ever."

Either way, it's pointless to argue. You're going to "win" the argument regardless.
