Tarkenton was one of the first scrambler QB's, not Cunningham. The scrambler QB has been around for a while (Elway? Probably the best mobile QB of all time). Cunningham was just good at scrambling, which sometimes means that he lacked the skills to find the open receivers or make the good passes like a Marino could do...

The TRUTH is that the Falcons changed defensive schemes and played much better last year than the year before. Michael Vick doesn't play defense or special teams. Jay Fiedler had as good a record as Michael Vick over his first couple of years with the Dolphins, but the Dolphins were winning despite Fiedler and not because of him. For someone who claims to not pay attention to statistics, Porky keeps hanging on to that stat like Vladimir Putin holds on to Super Bowl rings.

I'm still holding out hope that Vick will improve his passing though, which I'm pretty sure he will. Then hopefully the "Vick should be a RB or KR" comments will come to an end, and the haters will finally be silenced.
