Child support ruling stands "Once again, Jason Richardson has won a referee's call in his ongoing child support battle with his former girlfriend. Friday, Saginaw County Circuit Court Family Division Judge Patrick J. McGraw denied a request by Roshonda Jacqmain of Saginaw to reconsider his ruling setting the support paid by Richardson to their 5-year-old daughter. Richardson is a Saginaw native and star guard/forward with the National Basketball Association's Golden State Warriors." "McGraw ordered Richardson on Aug. 11 to pay $7,000 a month in child support for his daughter. Jacqmain sought $45,426 a month. Makaric maintained McGraw erred in his ruling, claiming the judge failed to specify the effective date of his decision and that he improperly deviated from the Michigan Child Support Formula. In his written opinion Friday, McGraw said his past ruling is effective Aug. 11 -- the date he signed it -- and he added that he didn't believe he improperly departed from state guidelines. Makaric also maintained McGraw improperly ordered Richardson to place $100,000 annually in a trust for his daughter, continuing to the end of his six-year NBA contract." The games were free and I'd walk down Haight street all happy and stuff. The games were a blast. Lots of rookies and wannabes. The Warriors entries in the league were stocked with rookies and second year players and a few locals. Old Dell Demps used to run in the summer league. He looked pretty good but it was obvious he didn't have enough game. I saw Mitch Richmond, Hardaway, Gatling, Victor Alexander, Sarunas and old Dell Demps. When the Warriors drafted Webber it all came to an end. I went for two summer league seasons and enjoyed every game. I miss the old, when stuff was free, no hype, lots of sweat, hang with the community days of summer league bball.
You're not talking about the SF pro am at Kezar are you? http://www.sanfranciscoproam.com/ That's the only summer league I know where you get to see local college guys, local guys that went pro somewhere else, and occasionally an NBA player from around here like Drew Gooden or a Warrior like Jrich or Arenas showing up and it's all free. It just shows people how good some of these pros are when a guy like Jrich shows up, doesn't even try, and throws up 40 points and can drive on people at will without really getting hurt on the contact. You guys are probably talking about something way different, though.

Warrior coaches and players. It was sweet. It was cool when it was just down the street.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Run BJM:</div><div class="quote_post">Considering how much she was after he made out like a bandit.</div> True, but the original amount is INSANE. She'd be making an above average persons salary every month. It's called child support, not lazy ass skank support. It's obvious why she wants that much, and let me tell yah, it ain't for the kid.

I remember one year Tim Hardaway showed up and everyone chased him from Kezar down to the Cala Foods market trying to get an autograph. He signed a few, jumped in his Nissan Z and sped off. There were some characters in that league, there was this one cat nick named the "Snake." He had the most unconventional free throw shot ever with a strange herkey jerkey hitch before he released his shot.

All I gotta say about that is every penny better go to the child and ONLY the child. That lady does not even have to work if she doesnt want to. Jeez...

While she is greedy, its not uncommon and is perfectly acceptable to judges and society throughout America. Reminds me of a guy I met who payed child support for 17 years and it turns out the real dad was some unemployed slug, which the mother likely knew.
Guess what, she doesn't even have to pay taxes on child support. So she does get the full amount, oh the "child" gets the full amount.
