    Dear Lord,

Please let us suck some serious a$$ during the 2006/2007 season so we may have a chance to draft Greg Oden, in your honour.

OH LORD, Let us have Oden so we may dismantle thine enemies and all who fear you shall know the name Bosh and Oden and shall cry for your mercy.

We ask this is Naismith's name....

    Oden

That would be quite a frontcourt, huh? Next Twin Towers? You've got to be pretty terrible to get him, though. Maybe you should pray Bosh gets injured for the whole season (like David Robinson), get the worst record and then get Oden!

Not a good idea to suck during the 2006/2007 season because Chris Bosh would start looking elsewhere to play after 4 years of dissapointment. I rather we improve and build on what we have instead of losing and getting worse.

That would be an amazing frontcourt with Bosh and Oden. I doubt you guys will be worse than some of the other teams in the league.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. He might leave and if you don't draft oden. You'll have a frontcourt of Charlie V. and Arojo *spelling*. And you definetly don't want that to happen.

The Raps are going to be in the bottom of the standings this year, maybe bottom 6-7...but hopefully they can pull some surprises. We will never know...Calderon might turn out to be another Ginobili and Bosh might have MVP numbers and Jalen turns himself back into his old self. But yeah, having Bosh and Oden will be a dream come true. LORD HEAR OUR PRAYERS.

Yea, or not. Calderon becomes Ginobili in one year, Bosh has MVP numbers? Jalen becomes his old self? How will he suddenly gain all his athleticism back outta nowhere. Your hopes a a little farfetched there...

Yeah that is never going to happen. The Lord has made many miracles happen but even God can't make the Raptors a good team. [IMG]

    (to all mods im sorry)

WOW THIS IS ONE OF THE STUPIDEST THINGS I HAVE EVER READ. (no offense to raptors fan) but there is almost no way in hell that the raptors can get in the playoffs unless they pull a big move (theyll have to beat mia, indi,nj,det, chi, philly, clev, wash). And i got mad love for Bosh but i doubt hes gunna put up mvp numbers (at least this year) hes not that good yet, he may be good to give u 20 and 10. AND JALEN ROSE IS WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY PAST HIM PRIME. Toronto rite now as much as i hate to say it r in a rebuilding state.

Dude, how was that stupid? It was a little exaggerated, but it wasn't stupid. You are not a Raps fan if you don't believe. Sure, they probably won't make the playoffs this year or maybe the next one also...but that's what being a supporter is all about.

"Toronto right *let me correct your spelling there bud* now as much as I hate to say it are in a rebuilding state." WOW! BRAVO! Ok, let's make you the new Schwab! You only noticed this now? For the past couple of years, the Raps have been on that same rebuilding state and couldn't put a solid core of guys together; a particular reason why Vince Carter became so irritated and impatient, therefore prompting him to leave the franchise. But thanks for reminding all of us for the 4325723572857232 time that the Raps are on the rebuilding state. [IMG]

When did all the sports analysts assume they would win the Atlantic last year? I don't even remember reading one magazine, where they had the Raps making the playoffs last season. This "rebuilding" process has been going on right after the Raps lost Antonio Davis, who was one of the core guys. Vince Carter thought that the team was going no where because they were always in a sense, in this "rebuilding" process and they wouldn't get good quality players to play along-side him. As far as I'm concerned, this has been going on even when Vince was still part of this team.

They wanted to include Vince in the franchise' future plans, but he just wanted out and since he purposely played like a mediocre player for the Raps; Babcock nothing he could do but to trade him for the team's sake.

There is no way we suck in 2006/2007. This season, yes we will have a hard year, but you are talking the season after next.

We will have an incredible young team that will have played together and hopefully some trades to bring in a couple of vets that can help. Jalen's contract will be up and we will have major cap space. In the 2006/2007 season we should be a playoff team for sure.

Next summer, assuming we don't make any moves, we still have two first round draft picks. With Bosh, Villaneuva, Calderon, Araujo (fingers crossed) and Graham being the future of the team, these two picks could make a very young and talented lineup. Peterson, Alston and maybe Rose would provide veteran experience and be leaders of the team. We will not suck so much to win the lottery in 2006-2007, at most a top five pick. If Araujo can progress at a rapid rate in these two seasons, we might not even have a need for Oden.
