That's a great deed by Baron, now if all pro athletes will donate the same.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TwinTowers:</div><div class="quote_post">That's a great deed by Baron, now if all pro athletes will donate the same.</div> How about if more rich people would do the same. Rich people can give more than any of us non-millionaires. [IMG]

Anyway, good deal by Baron. I guess the city of New Orleans can't really hate him after helping victims in those states affected. That's a lot of dough considering Athletes only work until they're about 30 or so. Then they have to find a real job or start their own. Then again, he's a max player, the guy has more money than he knows what to do with.

Just another reason why to love Baron even more. I love this guy.

My question for all those saying athletes and rich people should follow suit; what have you done? I know I have donated money and clothes to my church...

Considering that Davis basically got kicked out from Hornets, that's pretty special for him to donate that much. I mean, if Bay Area suffers similar fate, does anybody think Spree will donate $5?

I never imagined that such a massive casualty and other losses can happen in highly developed society like US because of natural disasters. NO was the city that never faced any storm higher than level 1 for more than 50 years, and those flood walls were constructed to face level 3 storms just in case. That kinda makes wonder about our own Bay Area with the earthquake, or anything like what kind of foundation do we use for our own lives and how shaky those can be. Anyway, my prayer goes to them, and hopefully NO can recover it's former self asap...
