<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Sean May's butterball days appear over. The ex-Tar Heel looked buff Tuesday while shooting a commercial for the Charlotte Bobcats. He said he weighs more than he did last winter, but that's more muscle and less fat, which he credits in part to a high-protein diet. May said he can eat anything that walks, crawls or swims. He cuts out most carbohydrates and sugary stuff, such as iced tea. He said he spent much of this summer working out in Chapel Hill, most recently in scrimmages with the Tar Heels before they left for the Bahamas to play exhibitions. Two other ex-Heels, the Bobcats' Raymond Felton and the Atlanta Hawks' Marvin Williams, were also there. May said the scrimmages were more useful than pick-up games because "coaches were yelling at me like I was still there." May and Felton were shooting commercials for the Bobcats' "Get Closer" campaign. May's commercial had him bumping up against an office worker in an elevator. Every time the other guy would move to the side, May would lean in closer. How did he keep a straight face through all the shots? "The more times you laugh, the more you do out-takes and the more times you have to do it" over, May said. Felton's commercial was shot in Charlotte's Elizabeth neighborhood, with him leaning in to share a jogger's iPod tunes.</div> Source
Good to see. This was one of the things I was hoping for in the off-season. Should results in better stamina for May.
