Its practilly guaranteed Heat, Pacers, Pistons got the first 3 seeds on lock. Now the fourth seed looks interesting, Cavs with DJ now have really improved and they might be there, Bulls are young and still smart and talented, Nets...that trio is a killer, and theres many other good teams, etc.. So who do you guys think will take that 4th seed?
Indiana and Detroit play in the same division so only one can be in the top 3. the fourth will go to Detroit because Indy is better and NJ will win the atlantic.

It's going to be #1 Detroit, #2 Miami and #3 Boston...I like what Danny Ainge has done with that Celtics team and even when Pierce and Antoine were down - they still were capable of beating teams. 4th Team I would say CAVS. They improved a lot this summer, got that 3-point missing key they've wanted. Not only that, a lot of people are forgetting that they have Big Z..probably the best center that could play post in the East.
If the question is 4th best team in the east. Than i'm going to have to go with the Chicago Bulls if they resign Eddy Curry. The Bulls are a totally differen't team with Curry healthy and playing. After losing their first 9 games last season they went on a great run and finished with the 4th seed. They are also very deep. For now the team would look like this: PG: Duhon, Hinrich, SG: Hinrich, Gordon, Basden SF: Deng, Nocioni, Basden, Piatkowski PF: Chandler, Allen, Harrington, Davis C: Curry, Harrington, Davis Please correct me if you think i did the lineup wrong.
^ wow dude boston will be lucky to make it to the post season there lineup is almost exactly wat it was without walker and when they were a sub .500 team and i doubt gerald green will be that great so fast, i think that the cavs are a good pick for 4th but i think that indiana will take it from them by a few games
I think its going to be : 1) Miami 2) Indiana 3) Philadelphia 4) Detroit Whoever is second in the Central Division will be the 4th seed.
I think people are overating the Pacers, they havent really added anyone strong this off season, and they lost 2 players in Reggie & Dale Davis. And they havent played together as a full team for a while now, so their chemistry could be all out of whack. I say: 1.) Miami 2.) Detroit 3.) Cleveland 4.) Indiana
1. Miami Heat 2. Detroit Pistons 3. Philadelphia 76ers 4. Chicago Bulls 5. Indiana Pacers I know the Pacers are a good team, but I feel that they are being overrated by people, because of their performance last season, against all odds making the playoffs and advancing. I still think the Detroit Pistons are a better team than the Pacers. You can make a lot of excuses for the Pacers, but truth of the matter when push comes to shove they have never beaten the Pistons in recent years when it mattered (a best of seven playoff series). I think the Bulls will beat them out for home court also they started out 0-9 last season and still got home court advantage in the playoffs. This year team chemistry will be better, young players improved, and they will go in knowing they can win something they did not know last season.
I agree with Chutney, Miami, Indiana, Philadelphia and Detroit. You can look for big improvements from the Nets, Cavs and Knicks this season though. New York, if it all comes together as they hope, could make some serious noise this year, even in the post season!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Purple Fever:</div><div class="quote_post">The Raps ... you heared.</div> pardon me? I didn't think Ir ead that right =P but I think it will be Indy @ 4th
my opinion eastern conference heat indiana (more raw talent) nets detroit cavs bulls celtics wizards|philly| western confernce spurs phoenix denver rockets mavs sacremento seattle GS|memphis
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Purple Fever:</div><div class="quote_post">The Raps ... you heared.</div> Exactly, everyone here is underrating the Raptors. They have such a promising line-up w/ Bosh, Rose, uhhh Peterson, ummm Alston....... Ahh who am I kidding, the Cavs will be the 4th best (maybe even 3rd best) in the east. With the addition of Hughes and Marshall, there's no reason to believe that they won't be 4th best. The pg position is still a concern, but I think they'll manage.
Remember, the Pacers are the same team who won 62 or so games the other season..but with Danny Granger and Sarunas Jasikevicius (and probably a few others), and only a few minor withdrawls The 3 best teams in the East are Indiana, Detroit and Miami. I believe Cleveland will come next with the slight chance of Milwaukee sneaking in.
East top 4 (in order): 1. Indiana 2. Miami 3. New jersey 4. Cleveland West Top 4: 1. SA 2. Denver 3. Sacramento 4. Houston mind u, I'm ranking based on how they should qualify for playoffs...meaning each team that won each conference gets the first 3 spots, and then the best teams are ranked according to record for spots 4-8...
1. Heat 2. Detroit 3. Indiana 4. New Jersey This was a toughy for me, but I think with a healthy trio of Kidd, VC, and RJ and with some of the good depth they have, Joyzee maybe pretty hard to stop.
