Yao might not have improved much weight-wise, just added more definition to his biceps/triceps and became stronger. He might still be 310, but his arm strength has definitely improved. I'm not sure if I want him to become 330 because it will be more weight to lug around, which might just tire him out more. What Yao is right now is just perfect.
If he gets more power into his step. he can power his way to the basket like amare does which would cause a double team leading to mcgrady or swift being open.
Amare Stoudemire uses more of his speed and athleticism to blow by defenders. Yao will never be as agile and quick as the likes of Garnett, Bosh and Amare. What Yao has to his advantage is height which will allow him to shoot over defenders and keep the ball above his head which would diminish the chances of the ball getting stolen. Yao is double-teamed as it is, and I don't fancy the chances of him dribbling from the top of the key to the basket. More often than not, someone will slap the ball away.
Yao needs to perfect his fade away jumper and that semi hook that he does. If he accomplishes these then the only way he wont reach 20 points is if the ball doesnt get to him
