<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Although he is now a member of the Laker coaching staff, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is not expected to be sitting courtside at Laker games. But maybe he should be. Having someone 7 feet 2 on the bench might be intimidating to opponents.

The Lakers already have Jack Nicholson sitting courtside at home games, which Jeanie Buss thinks might rattle opponents.

"You just never know if he's going to bring out that character from 'The Shining,' " Buss said recently on "ESPN Hollywood."</div>

I think he should be at the games, especially when Bynum will be playing... It's always good to have a mentor right there with you....
