<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Meanwhile, an annoyed Paxson shot down a published report that claimed Curry, a Thornwood High School product, had requested to be dealt as part of a sign-and-trade agreement. "I don't know where it came from that (the Curry camp) requested a trade," Paxson said. "To begin with, the sign-and-trade thing is old news. It's one of the options that's out there for him, but we have to want to do it. If we don't want to do it, then ... we have not talked to one team about a sign-and-trade possibility." When asked whether Curry had issued a trade demand, Paxson responded, "No, he hasn't."</div> <div align="center">Source</div>
These days the media is just confusing. First off, reports were that Eddy Curry's agent wanted a sign and trade, not nessecarily Curry himself.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting B-22:</div><div class="quote_post"> Eddy Curry's agent wanted a sign and trade, not nessecarily Curry himself.</div> Curry?s agent speaks only as a representative of Eddy Curry. There for he was only supposable passing on a request from his client. That is the fact that Paxson denied. So although Curry?s agent requested the sign and trade supposable had it been true it would have been Curry?s request passed on to his agent and then to management.
