with swift, we have one of the best trio in the NBA. the only other trio i can think of is like ginobolui, parker, dunkin, or shaq, wade, walker, i bet none of yall can think of any better trio then this.
If were talking the 5,4,3 spot then yes, Yao, Swift, McGrady is the best trio in the league. But best three players on a team then I would give it to the Spurs
Until the Rockets front court trio shows they are the best I would hold off on handing them that. Sheed, Big Ben, Prince have proved to be the best 3 4 5 these past couple years. Now the Heat have Shaq, Haslem,Walker which looks good. Depending on who is playing next to Amare and Marion, they could be strong like last year with Joe Johnson. We do have a potentially strong frontcourt. I know Rockets fans, like me, are anxious to see how well Swift can play next to Yao. I would say the rockets have a good opportunity try to reach the potential this young talented frontcourt has.
The Rockets trio is far from the best in the NBA. Yes, we might have a top 3 SF and a top 3 Center, but Swift is top 20 at his position at best. Until he proves otherwise, I would name Anderson a part of the Rockets' trio over him. The Cavaliers (James, Hughes, Ilgauskas), Heat (Walker, Shaq, Wade), Kings (Bibby, Abdur-Rahim, Miller), Sonics (Lewis, Allen, Radmanovic), Suns (Nash, Stoudemire, Marion), Spurs (Parker, Duncan, Ginobili) and Pistons (Wallace, Billups, Hamilton) all have equally impressive, if not more, trios.
why do u guys keep forgetting indiana joneal artest jackson i rank pistons front court the best then the rockets front court meaning 1 2 3 as for trios for any position kidd carter and jefferson beat all
You're right, everyone forgot about Indiana and New Jersey. However, if Antoine Walker does play the three, then the Heat (Shaq, Haslem, Walker) have a great frontcourt trio as well. Just a reminder TmacGarnett, the numbers representing positions are 1 for point guard to 5 for center. The way you have it is lopsided.
The best has to be Duncan, Parker and Ginobili. Until someone defeats them and takes their title, they are the best. Coming in second would be the Pistons trio of Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace and Chauncey Billups. Tayshaun Prince and Richard Hamilton could also be switched with Rasheed which is why that Pistons team is so good. Another good one is the Miami Heat. With Dwyane Wade, Shaquille O' Neal and Antoine Walker, teams better watch out for that explosive lineup.

Swift, Yao, T-Mac are a great trio. But there definitely not the best: 1st of all now that theres Swift we havent even seen them 3 play together yet. And theres been great trios that have won titles like Ginobili, Parker, Duncan. And the Pistons Wallace, Hamilton, Billups. The Nets also have a great trio, also you cant forget about that new Heat trio Williams, Wade, and Shaq will put on a show every night.

The rockets have potential but we can't be certain of how great we can be but the difference in our trio is that we can get better and better.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting PlaTsanity:</div><div class="quote_post">best trio: Marion/Nash/Marion</div> Ah hah! I knew the reason they traded Q-Rich and JJ is because they had a plan to clone Marion! Now it all makes sense Anyway I think people are overrating us, I mean Swift isn't a superstar he's a good player but not great, and there is no way we have the best trio in the league.
I personally think that Swift can really develop. I can easily see him getting like 15 and 10 or so almost every night. He can always just be the defensive partner of Yao...

For sure its the best SF and combo ,but maybe not best DUO in the NBA. What about Wade and Shaq? What do you guys think? lol nothing but questions...sorry im in a rush.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Dan Le:</div><div class="quote_post">Ah hah! I knew the reason they traded Q-Rich and JJ is because they had a plan to clone Marion! I can also see tmac and yao beating them this year with so much talent miami has either shaqs and/or wades numbers are gonna go down
