In your opinion which rookie between CV31, Joey Graham & Jose Calderon will have the best rookie season?

Raptors rookie or NBA rookie? If NBA rookie then this should be in the NBA basketball section.

I'll say Joey Graham. CV31 is looking to be a bust to me for such a high first round pick. Also, I heard that Graham did the most number of bench presses in the draft camp. His shooting isn't too bad either.

Joey Graham, he's a more polished player and much stronger than Villanueva. I like both but Graham gets the nod from me because of all the stuff that factors in like who he's learning from and who he's playing behind. Athletic ability is about equal but overall its Graham.

I would guess Joey Graham, because he will probably be able to get more playing time at his natural position. While CV31 will have less minutes at PF, and some out of position at C or SF.

If Villeneuva was playing at PF, then I wouldn't be so sure between the two.

Charlie will get the most PT because we still have no one reliable at center, so I'm gong with him. 10 points, 7 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, something like that.

Those are almost Bosh's numbers in his rookie year.

I think Charlie will have a solid year rebounding the ball, but he won't get as many plays called for him on offence. 8 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1-1.5 blocks sound reasonable.

graham will probably be coming off the bench and i see him averaging something like:

    9 ppg 6 rpg

while CV3 I have no idea how he will do. I dont know why but i am excited to see this guy play
i dont think he is as bad as people say he is
i saw some clips of him in U-CONN and i was pretty impressed
hopefully he can play either SF OR C
    and help us

Caledron will have a mediocre season
he wil probably average something like this off the bench:
    7 ppg..2rpg..6apg

I agree with the JG stats, CV3 it's to early to predict his stats, and those are pretty good stats for Celderon considering he's a first year backup.

I don't think that Calderon will have 6apg in his first year. I would be happy with 3 apg, and quite happy with 4 apg from a backup rookie pg.

I agree with it being difficult to guess CV31's stats, because it will be difficult to determine what position he will play the majority at and how many he will receive.

For some reason I feel more optimistic about this Raptors squad this year.
Because in the long term we have 3 positions solidified.
PG: Ukic/Calderon/Rafer - one of them will eventually work out for the Raptors

SF: Graham - solid defense, with offensive potential
PF: Bosh/Villineuva - decent defense, while only getting stronger

If we can get a decent SG in next year's draft and get a center through free agency we should have a pretty good team.

I dont think Ukic will be joining the raptors
and I think Graham should be really good

i see him as being the next artest
and we got rose as our SG

    :
    PG--Skip
    SG-Rose
    SF-Graham/CV3
    PF-BOSH
    C-??

i dono it doesnt seem logical for the raptors to select charlie if they are gonna let another rookie play the same spot before he does.

they could have drafter gerald green or danny granger for the 3 spot over charlie and been more productive.

Yea, we've all thought about this year's draft a lot.

He might have not gone for those two guys because:

-He planned on drafting Graham at 16
-Worried about Granger's knee and back
-Green's maturity and no college experience, might be ballhog
