Which Bobcat rookie will have the better season? Raymond Felton or Sean May?

Well, IMO, I'd have to say Raymond Felton. They both could get significant playing time, seeing as how the starters at their positions (Knight and Okafor) are both injury prone. However, May could put up some good stats if the Bobcats play with a small lineup with May at PF and Okafor at C. There are different scenario's that could help them, but I think Felton might put up better stats, seeing as how May would have to fight with Brezec and Okafor for rebounds.

Agreed. Felton will have a better year due to Okafor being the Bobcats franchise player. Also, since May plays PF like Okafor he won't get big minutes unless Okafor gets a significant injury.

Felton's good but didn't they resign Brevin Knight? He's old and short but he had a great year last year, Felton has to beat out a player that I'm not sure he's better than. May on the other hand is a very excellent player who should be the first guy ff the bench no matter what happens. I don't think it's impossible that they give him a shot at playing 3 either.

Sean May, the guy is getting into shape slowly but surely and from what I've read he faired well in summer leagues. Okafor is capable of playing center, and I've always thought of Okafor as a player a lot like Alonzo Mourning, so I'm pretty sure he could do it well playing pivot. May doesnt have to beat out a seasoned veteran for the minutes like Felton does, May has to get past Ely, Brezec and Okafor. Okafor will most likely switch positions and Ely and Brezec dont seem to have too much on May.

I'm also going to say May. We are going to see a much quicker, more in shape May this year that will put up very significant numbers for Charlotte.

I'm also going to say May, his post game is great and he is just so strong. If he keeps on playing like he did during the NCCA tourney he is going to be a terror in the league.

Felton, I think he will becoe the leader along with Okafor and May will also have a good career but I just see Felton being better.

Keep in mind that was College. In the NBA, he's going to face people bigger, quicker, and stronger than him. He just overpowered anyone in College, because he was bigger than most of defenders.

Sean May. No reasons can validate an opinion so I shall just wait and let the season speak for itself.

Sean May will have knee surgery and miss training camp and all of pre-season. This is going to be a setback for him and the team. It will be interesting to see how fast May can get back into shape and condition himself to play at the NBA level.

Regardless of this news, I still would have selected Raymond Felton. The Bobcats traded Jason Hart to free up more PT for Felton, so I think he will get more opportunities than May in their rookie season.
