Me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me. I would much rather be a Dolphins fan last year, than a Eagles fan this year.
I wasn't around for all of those but I will say its funny read them and then read the latest ones. My how Eagle fans can change there minds. Just like everything will be fine if TO comes back and catches is first TD. Thats all it takes. haha......
Well, there is no doubt that Terrell Owens can play football. If your an Eagles fan, you had to be frustrated with Reid not improving the WR corp. How many years of Pinkston and Trash did the Eagles need before someone realized that they needed to get McNabb some decent weapons? Here comes T.O. and Eagles fans finally get a taste of what McNabb can do when he has a starting caliber WR on the field. Reid should have gone after someone who was more of a team player even if it meant getting someone not quite as talented. I feel for Eagles fans because the team is going to do what their going to do. We have to live with a similar problem with Ricky Williams. I would rather have a RB that wasn't a head case, but we have Ricky so I have to hope Saban can make it work.
I definitely feel for Eagles fans as well. The year Stringer died it tore the team apart. Whenever something like this happens, it can take years to rebuild the team properly.
VF I dont think you should compare TO being a dickbag to Stringer dying. I think the Eagles can unite with their hate for TO, and it could make them a better "team" a different team then last year. I think their defense is good enough to hold the other team down, and Mcnabb with Westbrook and LJ Smith can put some points on the board. BTW...The update is that TO is now suspended indefinately, and he'll be back in camp after him and Reid resolve this situation. I applaud Andy Reid for doing the right thing...
The comparison between TO and Stringer was simply to bring up the point that whenever team chemistry is messed with, it usually results in a bad season. The similarities end there. Stringer's death was one of the great tragedies that should have been avoided. I too applaud Reid for doing the right thing in this case. I hope TO sits the whole year out without getting to play. He deserves to be kicked to the curb at this point. I have my doubts as to whether any other team would be willing to sign him. Good news for the Eagles with this as well...the Eagles worked in the contract a failsafe for TO committing acts deemed detrimental to the team. He may have to pay back up to half his guaranteed bonus money.

Ricky is a head case but he is not even in the same league (metaphorically speaking) as TO. I guess what it boils down to is whats worse Greed or selfishness fueled by paranoia & weed? TO being a "dickbag" (way to coin a phrase E4L) is much worse IMO.
