<div class="quote_poster">Notorious Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">DHoward:10/10 LOVE this sig, i love the render, background and the brushes, pretty much everything, What effects are on the render? Is it just brushes? </div> haha. Very Very little brushing. Just for the highlights. Made those brushes myself too. Lots of photomanips and I think 40+ layers. lol. Fun stuff. I've been experimenting. That was something new. Im trying to stray away from alot of grunge stuff since everyone here seems to be using it now. Got to stay ahead of the pack!

DAMN! Nice stuff NTC... maybe its just my bias of liking The Game but I give it a dime. I might have to use that one day LOL.
K, i went alil overboard() on some of the effects, but i was just testing. I tryed going all Trench on yall(No brushes, lol). C+C: I drew a blank on text, so i went simple. My only thing i dont like is its extremely busy, but i was just messing with effects. EDIT: My attempt to un-busy it:
<div class="quote_poster">Carter Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Making a Pistons sig so NTC could rate it higher? </div> Lol, no, i dont really care about ratings, just the Crits and comments, they help me grow as a designer. Plus, i had a cool pic of Billups and decided to try it.
Guys, here's my first attempt at making a sig in a more advanced program. Its not Photo Shop but its better than MS Paint, its called Corel Paint Shop Pro. Anyways, here it is:
<div class="quote_poster">Carter Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I actually think it looks really good. It looks like a sig Trench would make. 9.5/10</div> ouch. lol. I give it a 5/10. No real consistency with anything. Colors are all over the place, effects are very random. Not feeling the sig. Keep working at it.

Dime for sure. Love the scrappy look. Rate this, my second sig in PaintShopPro (kinda threw stuff together, experimented with different tools):

Render isnt that good, the big white splots are kinda random and not that good, the render is kind of bright, and the cutting on some parts isnt very good. Also, wahts up with the small bits of blue around the head and arm? But it is an improvement from the first IMO, keep working at it.
<div class="quote_poster">Notorious Wrote</div><div class="quote_post"> Seriosly? I didnt think it was that bad... How are the effects random? </div> look at it carefully. There are so many colors and the saturation in the background is terrible. The sigs have to have some kind of FLOW to it. The background has to fit the render. Yours looks as if you just put a photo of Billups on top of a random made background rather than place the background around the render... MAKE SENSE??? Its hard to explain, but your sig doesnt have any type of flow and the background really doesnt match the render too well. The Render itself it not blended in the background at all, and the pistons logo doesn't look like it really fits. The left side looks like blood on a wall, the right side looks like some kind of lighting. then you have a faded out Billups render that does not really look like it fits. Im not trying to take anything away from your efforts, but I've been on boards with very "GOOD" designers who's critques are very harsh. You rarely see a 10/10 period. Unfortunately that site went down. Keep practicing, but I will CALL is as I see it. I suggest you find more GFX forums and get them C+C for you. Im sure they'll say the same things I just did.

The blue parts are apart of the faded sixers logo. But yeah, I'll keep working at it.

Any more tips or anything? <div class="quote_poster">Epidemik Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">The white blotches weren't my doing, I used a premade background from the link NTC had. And it just doesnt look like the blue fits, maybe leave that part out next time?
