I didnt watch the game.. but I did see the Highlights..again..Tmac did some crazy stuff...Those dunks and shots from the parking lot..O man..cant wait till the season starts!
I went to the game it was alot of fun. Good to see all the players joking around with each other and not at each other's throats like it was a real game. The dunks were amazing. Good game for a good cause. I love my city
I was there, covering the game...and let me just say...TMac is GOD! jk but seriously, dude was just crazy with some of the stuff he was pullin...had a couple of sick alley-oops...but the best part was his two 3s from 28 feet and further in the closing minutes of the game... other notes: Rockets Power dancers are nice and actually dont look cheesy with their routines... 11,000 were in attendance... Kanye West, Slim Thug were there... JR Smith has some SERIOUS hops... D-Anderson didnt do much, but made some smart passes...lookin nice in that #8 Rockets jersey Mike James played very well- 12 points, 5 assists, 4 boards in 23 minutes... Francis and Mobley each got rousing ovations from the crowd... awesome game, I cant wait for the NBA season to start...
Wow, it must have been an exhilarating experience. I have yet to see the highlights but the way I'm hearing about the game it sure seemed to be very good. Maybe TMac should launch those half-courters in regular season games...
man o man i had a great time! It was fun watching all these NBA players doin what they do. The dunks were massive! It really seemed like all the players KNEW it was Tmac's city so they let him do whatever he wanted! They got the crowd involved and gave away loads of free stuff! They even gave away like 12 signed basketballs. Franchise showed off a little bit of his jumpropes skills too. And when Tmac and arenas went back and forth with the 3's it totally capped off the night. Overall i would've payed double or triple the $15 that i spent. It was nice to see that everyone wanted to play and showoff without being too much of an exhibition game if that makes any sense.
Oh yeah All the stars were there and i ended up standing behind Kerry Kittles at the will-call line! i didn't get an autograph but i thought...is his autograph even worth the hassle?!
i think mike james was a little too selfish by attacking the basket on his own almost every possesion. I recalled he got stripped or blocked numerous times. I dont know whether the reason he played like that because its in toyota center or not, but i certainly hope he wont do that in the real game.
I forgot to ask, but did anyone catch anything with their digital cameras? I've love to see some of what you guys saw in person.
tmac was incredible i got signatures and the works got my garnetts and my old tmacs signd it was absolutely great
I saw the game on television, and I loved it great game for a great cause. That Kobe to T-mac dunking was amazing! Also it was nice to see Kobe and his little friend, Im sure Kobe is his idol now.
First off, I believe what these players and people like Kenny, Chuck and others have done for the victims of hurricane Katrina are simply amazing. The amount of supplies and monetary donations these people have made say so much about their characters. Now as far as the actual game goes, I thought it was one heck of a fun game to watch. It was good to see all the players back out on the court before the season starts just to see how they look. T-Mac's long bombs had me jumpin' out of my seat and interrupting my room mate while he was watching the football game haha. Oh yeah, it was sure nice to see DA in that Rockets' uniform!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TmacGarnett:</div><div class="quote_post">tmac was incredible i got signatures and the works got my garnetts and my old tmacs signd it was absolutely great</div> Thats awesome The players did a great job obliging to the fans last night, it was great to see all the smiles and cheering that was going on...
Yeah I watched the game on my comp and it was teriffic! T-Mac with those long shots were awesome! the last one just rimmed out too, I thought his off the board dunk was great but would of been better if he threw it down harder, also the alley Kobe threw to him that missed IMO would of been the dunk of the night had it gone in, some of the layups Derek and Mike had were great too, both Francis and Mobley showed off their handles in the game and watching Kobe with that little kid was really heartwarming.. The whole thing was just incredible, alot more fun to watch then the 2005 Denver All Star Game IMO, what they're doing is just great....Well that's all from me...
Oh and i'm putting up the full game for the special members [/QUOTE] i misssed the game and i really need to watch it...
