its on friday cant wait... jeez football season is almost here

well in this game we'll see how Pennington has recovered that'll be the big story. But i wanna see how good this lions team really is, i think the first teams Jets defense is good enough to stop them and mostly any teams offense in the NFL, we'll see tonite!!!! [IMG]

The Lions could be good, but I think they will catch on later in the year. I'm not sold on Joey, but the rest of the team is loaded with talent.

All I see is a bunch of Raw bad coached talent. The WR's are really overrated right now. I'll take the Colts trio anyday. I liked all there players in college but the only guy I am sold on is Kevin Jones. Other than that a bunch of Raw players.

Watching the wide receivers you can see the talent, though. Its young talent, but its there all the same. At some point its got to be developed.

If the Lions don't do better this year, its time for the entire coaching staff to be fired.

Yea I agree. I like Steve Maurachi but he hasn't done as good as a job as he was expected to do so. Also Joey "the Bust" Harrington has gotten far to many chances in my mind. I like Mike Williams a lot as a future stud but I could be wrong. I think Roy Williams is overrated heading into this season. At least fantasy wise he is. Charles Rogers remains unseen. Sure he was good in college but so was David Terrell and remember how good Peter Warrick was. The only guy I am sold on right now is Kevin Jones because he showed great promise towards the end of last season.

Harrington looked good in the preseason. Maybe Jeff Garcia lit a fire under him. He might be this years Drew Brees.

well the Jets won 10-3 in what was an uneventful game. The Jets had a good 98 yard drive that Fiedler led, the Jets d obviously did pretty well considering they only let up 3 points. It was a good game but its preseason whatever. Law and Pennington didnt play for precautionary reasons so it wasnt that exciting, especially when u see Fiedler leading the first string offense. lol i'm sure phins fans will appreciate that despite the fact that he did alright he had an int on the 2nd pass of the game because a lineman tipped it up. Im actually hoping Chad has to sit out a Phins game for some minor injury just becuase I'd like to see Jay get a little payback lol. Curtis looked great the line was decent, HArrington looked pretty darn good to me and im not lking that at all.
