I agree with Trip in that we have to be realistic in some manner...we lost some key games to poor teams last season...this team has a history of playing up/down to their competition...we need to be world-beaters every night and play to our potential every night...yes Phoenix lost some firepower, but that could mean that, instead of winning 62 games, they'll win "only" 55...sacramento will be a better team this year...seattle stood pat, which i dont think fares well for them...memphis got better, IMO, by adding bobby jackson and eddie jones, experienced veterans...yes Houston is the 2nd best team in the West, and I only see SA as their real threat...The Clips, Memphis, and Seattle will all be competing for the last 5 spots...Denver, SA, Houston, Phoenix and Dallas should round out the top 5, more or less...

I think losing to bad teams is in our blood.seems like almost every year we do it. From last year to the franchise days..even when dream was here we would lose to bad teams. With that being said i would not mind beating all the good teams, losing to the bad ones, and still winning 50+. Just as long as we get faaaar into the playoffs. I think we would have had a bad season if we don't make it to the western conf. finals! Is that asking for too much?!

I have to agree with Chuck on this one.....besides SA, I honestly think the rockets can take anyone in the west.....but it's cool to know there's a lot of local cats on here.....I graduated from Pearland in '03.
