11/19 88 Yards and a TD, 4 Rushing attempts for 17 yards and a lost fumble, he played decent but its pre season and its the Colts D lol, but still its something positive for the Bills to build from.
This game didn't really show me anything - the one thing that I was hoping to see was our LT - Mike Gandy (who's been doing pretty good in camp with McNally coaching him) against Dwight Freeney. Too bad Dwight Freeney didn't play. Losman was solid, but his completion percentage should have been nearly 80% but the first four passes he threw were dropped by our recievers and there should have been a PI call on one pass to Lee Evans - if he completed those extra four - 15-19 = better then 75% - too bad we couldn't see how he'd do against a DL with a stud DE that is gonna put constant pressure on him (unless Gandy keeps him in check).

Not putting the Bills over like they are untouchable but stating facts.
We shall see how good he is next week when he plays the vaunted doomsday defense of Greenbay mwhahahahaha.

They will be better this year but still not a "Great" D, they should be solid enough to keep us together though.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (FLORIDA PACKER)</div><div class='quotemain'>They will be better this year but still not a "Great" D, they should be solid enough to keep us together though.</div> Yea I think we finish higher than 25.
u know the only improvement i see with the Pack d is Jim Bates being their coordinator. Now i know a coordinator will do a lot, just look at the Jets defense from 2003 to 2004. But still i really dont see a lot of talent he can work with there. Sure there is a bunch of really solid defensive guys, but not enough to be a force or to give teams any reason to worry.
That secondary is gonna get eaten up, they only have really one good guy in Al Harris. Carroll didnt have a good rookie year, and the safety position isnt in good condition because Freeman got cut. I dont think Bates can afford to blitz with the defenisve secondary that he has.
Now I never said it'll put fear in other teams but it will finish higher than 25 is my guess. Carroll probably isn't gonna start anyways. Joey Thomas beat him out in mini camp and is back now, so I expect him to win the job in training camp. Mike Hawkins might beat both of them out either way. The safties are a bit dissapointing but the talent is there on the defensive line. KGB and Kampman are pretty solid ends. Cledius needs to step us his game and I am not making any guesses there. Grady Jackson should get into action when he gets healthy. He'll play but he won't be happy. Either way he is there. Corey Williams and Donell Washington are young and provide some deph. Kenny Peterson and Cullen Jenkins are good backups to. The line has potential and a key to a good secondary is having a good line. If the line can play decent the secondary will be better.
You think our D puts fear into other teams? We're gonna lead the league in sacks this year - without question.
