<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Samuel Dalembert, the 76ers center, will be in Mississippi tomorrow with more than a dozen NBA and WNBA players as part of a caravan of 20 tractor trailers packed with supplies for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The players are teaming up with the "Feed the Children" program, offering "Operation Rebound," making deliveries in Hattiesburg, Biloxi and Gulfport. At the same time, Sixers forward Chris Webber, via his Web site, www.chriswebber.com, has scheduled a drive to collect books, school supplies, school uniforms and baby supplies in the Detroit area Saturday and Sunday.

Former Sixer Glenn Robinson has donated "at least $25,000" and "at least $15,000 worth of clothes" to the American Red Cross, according to his agent, Dr. Charles Tucker. Some of the clothes, Tucker told the Gary (Ind.) Post-Tribune, belonged to Robinson's late mother, Christine Bridgeman.

Meanwhile, as it should, the business-as-usual world moves forward, with the Sixers placing partial season tickets and group ticket plans on sale today through the sales office (215-339-7676) or via www.sixers.com.

The Sixers also announced that Comcast SportsNet will televise 65 regular-season games and that Channel 57 will air an additional 10. Play-by-play man Marc Zumoff, analyst Steve Mix and executive producer Shawn Oleksiak will be back for their 12th season together. WIP will broadcast 69 games, and WPHT will provide an additional eight, with play-by-play man Tom McGinnis back for his 11th season, joined for the second season by former Sixers center Todd MacCulloch.</div>
