*I haven't heard anything about this happening- just an idea. With the Lakers shakiest position being PG, and no big names left on the market why don't the Lakers pursue Williams? He is running out of options, and has stated that money isn't a deciding factor; all he wants is playing time, and a team that will be patient with his progress. He could play behind Mckie, and as the season progresses perhaps work his way into the starting spot. What do you guys think?
Its on record that he refuses to play in the triangle offense again. If you don't remember, the Bulls were still running the tri after the dynasty. I'm sure someone will pick him up before he gets desperate enough to play in the triangle again.
I like the idea. He is a good point guard. THe only deciding factor is if Phil wants a guy who hasn't played for a while due to injury.
No thanks, I don't like his attitude and was never a fan of 'his' style of basketball to begin with. It's ridiculous for him to dictate the kind of system he wants to play in. There are thousands of NBA prospects around the world who would jump at the opportunity to play on any team and play any role in the NBA.
I love this idea if he's at least 90%, but thatrs a big "if". At the time of his accident he would have been better than more than half of the ones in the league. At one point and time i think he was the best collegiate athlete. Even though we signed dude from washington it would have been a great try. I hear he's going to Toronto. - Clutch
