Good news: Holmes averaged over 10 yards per carry
Bad news: He only carried 4 times

Good News: The Defense looked faster and seemed to tackle a little better fundamentally
Bad news: Culpepper shredded them and they "looked" like a team that was still learning to function together

    Analysis:

Priest is awesome, regardless of how many carries he gets. He seems to be resilient enough to keep bouncing back after his injuries. Larry Johnson looks like the "real deal" if we have to call his number this season.

The defense hopefully will improve through the preseason as they become accustomed to playing together. They couldn't really be any worse than last year. Derrick Johnson is seriously fast. We will miss Eric Warfield during his 4 game suspension.

Cheifs are strong this year. If the defense plays good they'll contend with SD for the divsion.
