Top to bottom you could make a case that all 5 of these teams could make it into the playoffs and 2 of them have legitimite shots at a title, is any conference better? I know that no conference in the east even comes close. Southwest is the only conference I could say compares.
As for the caliber of teams the Southwest is better. Overall, the Central is better just because they don't have the Hornets
Stupid NO and there Hornets. I wish TEXAS had another kick ass team (as long as they were not as good as the rockets) Like The Austin Longhorns (UT BABY!). If they were like a 7th-8th seed team, then I wud have more Texas teams to enjoy watching. Except Dallas. I use to like them, before I found out how dirty they all play (dirk, howard, Finley etc...). I think our Division has the most competion for sure though. The Spurs, Rockets, and Dallas. The Rockets and Dallas will be stuck with the 4th and 5th seed because of that stupid 1st in division law.
