On Hoopsworld hoopsworld a headline scrolls saying the Lakers are interested in Aaron Williams. Unfortuneatly I am not a subscriber so I am not able to read the article.

Has anyone heard anything about this rumour???

The rumor in Los Angeles is Slava being swapped for Aaron Williams. Both are in their final years of their contracts.

I don't see the point in that trade. There's only about a 300,000 dollar difference in their contracts.

I agree, when I read about this trade I didn't think it made any sense for either team. Aaron Williams would be a physical big body for the Lakers, which they need, however, there are better options available who can do the same things.

The Raptors don't have any need for Slava either. At least Williams can play some minutes at Center for the Raptors.

why would'nt we take slava?
i would do it
we need a centre badly
n slave can fill that position

AW isnt much use..he just sits on the bench and hardly sees any playing time
so why not get slava to aid us in the centre position rather than have nothing?

Slava a center? That's hysterical. The guy can't play defense and is trigger happy. We don't need any more of those types of players.

Slava has no post game, plays horrible defense, and is just a sweet-shooting big body. At least Williams can be a physical presence in the paint, and can grab a few rebounds. If we have Medevedenko as a center, then we have no player in the post when he's on.

Slava and AW are both useless. Sure, you can put them on the court as a couple of big bodies, but other than that...they're ******.
