I think he can become a great player someday. At first some compared him to T-Mac but that has died down. I think his size and athleticism will help him have an advantage against other 2 guards. He also has some PG skills from what I have heard so hopefully he can become our future PG. I am really looking foward to the future backcourt of Wade and Wright. That would definately be an explosive backcourt.

I dont know hardly anything about him but if he's about 3-4 years away from contributing on a consistent basis...from what I understand, he's extremely atheltic, but I dont see Walker, Posey, or Wade going anywhere anytime soon so Wright will just have to patiently wait his turn...

I think Wright will be solid at worst. I see him being a good player and possibly getting a few all-star appearences (though its very difficult to predict because he is so young). I think Miami has a very bright future with 3 possible all-stars (Wade, Simien, and Wright) once Shaq retires.

^^Don't sleep on Haslem he can also become one hell of a player if he works on his offensive game.

He will be Wade's backup I think so he will be getting more playig time. Remember he is only a seond year guy out of HS. So his palyng time will come. He has the talent where in a few years he can overtake JWill at the point IMO.

look for simiem to not even play much. With haslem coming off the bench simien wont get alot of time but might be getting a championship ring.

the question i have is how many years does shaq have left?

I agree Simien won't ply much, but Haslem will start becaus eof his added defense and he plays very well with Shaq and Wade.

As for the question about Shaq, I'd say anywhere from 1-3 years left, he could slow down this year but I see him having 2 years of dominance and after that he will still be the second best Center but Amare may overtake him because of youth. Now you'll ask why not Yao? I just don't see Yao doing what Amare will be able to do in the future, Amare's defense is very strong and he is very physical somehting Yao is not, but only time will tell.

Where are you Heat fans getting this from? I keep hearing all the Heat fans saying Haslem will start but until I hear something official theres no way in hell i buy that. They arent going to pay 7-10 mils a year to have Walker sitting on the bench. Haslem has heart and effort but hes not this tenacious defender hes made out to be, in my opinion he is a product of Shaq and I doubt any team would have offered him the money that Miami gave him. Walker should do about as well as Haslem on the boards and bring average defense. Toine is a much better post player, shooter, passer, and ball handler.

what i thought was intrigueing how you didn't put rebounded in there. Tru walker is all those things but does he do it in an intelligent fashion? the answer is no. Haslem is a team player and SVG wont hesitate or risk the team chemistry with walker unless he sees that walker will be a team player. Haslem is a good scoring option but why need another post player when u have shaq in the middle? why need another great scorer if you have wade and shaq avg 20 mpts a piece? as for ball handling. I dont think walker will handle the ball. passing maybe his thing with dishing it to wade and others but haslem was a big part of their team last year. I dont think stan will forget that. (all of what i just said about haslem getting the starting job can be changed if one man says he wants walker. His name is pat riley)

It doesn't matter who starts, it's the lineup on the floor closing out games, that counts. I also think Walker is going to be in the starting lineup, but I'm not sure if Miami wants him on the floor when it's a close game and every possession counts.

As for Dorrell Wright, believe it or not, I think he's gotten worse than when I saw him play last summer. I've seen all the summer league games from last year and this year, and I think Wright developed an ego last year and didn't work on his game. Last summer he was very aggressive and played with a lot of energy. This summer he was non-chalant on the court and forced a lot of shots. I sat next to Stan Van Gundy in one of the summer league games and I kept seen him shake his head everytime Dorrell Wright chucked the ball or dribbled too, much on offense.

I know Pat Riley is high on Dorrell Wright, but he's really going to have to be impressive in practice to play any significant minutes. I think his time will come next year if anything with the Heat. This year the Heat have Posey, Anderson, Wade, and Walker getting the bulk of the minutes. The Heat also plan on adding one or two more veteran players to their roster, which will take away even more opportunity for Wright.

He's been listening to the hype surrounding him since he dropped 30 points in his first summer league game as a rookie.

The knock on him during the NBA draft was his lack of work ethic, lack of defense, not playing hard every game, poor shooting mechanics, and turning the ball over a lot.

I saw all those same flaws in the summer league this year from him. He is worse now because he stopped attacking the rim like he did a summer ago. He was shooting far more from the perimeter this summer.
