Apparently, management is extremely highly of Kwame Brown. I mean is Kwame Brown really worth two players? I have no strong allegiance to Chucky or Caron but I hope we didnt get screwed. We gave up Caron who showed us a little something towards the end of the season for a player who missed the playoffs due to injury....I'm sorry, excuse me, what's that you say....ah....correction, missed a majority of the playoffs due to suspension for missing a practice . . . and a game! Mitch, Phil, and Jerry I hope you two know what you're doing....and if you do can you holla at JBB....I know we need an inside presence but is Kwame the answer? I liked pre-March Chucky Atkins. Post-March Chucky got a little to mouthy with the reporters and started to be a distraction in my opinion. So I'm not particularly sad to see him go, especially if Smush Parker is as solid as his play was in the Summer Pro league. I think sumsh will be a great backup to McKie. I will miss Caron. It's sad to see him go because I felt he was making strides toward the end of the season and I think he would have been a very legitimate number 3 if not number 2 option. Kwame better step up..... What do you guys think of Kwame?
I don't think he is too big a risk. It was a fact we needed a big guy in the front court and Odom just wasn't big enough to play the 4. LA is going to be a fresh start for him, he should be more relaxed and cool this year. Caron and Chucky were good, but it's not what the team needs. Caron is about the same size as Kobe and chucky doesn't play very good defense. I think it will bloom into something good.
