    Warriors "internal" Talks with Curry

According to Mullin, the Warriors have had "internal" talks about Chicago Bulls center Eddy Curry, a restricted free agent, and are interested in a handful of other players.</div>

The Warriors have been linked to Curry for a while now, what would you Bulls fans think about a Curry for Troy Murphy sign and trade, now I don't know if it is feasible under the CBA rules but Murphy just signed a 6 year 50 million that kicks in this year. Murph would give you that tough, bruising rebounder, who can shoot and score from the 4, allowing Tyson to play the 5.

I like Murphy I think he is a good player, but would not like the lineup with Chandler playing center. If you saw the Bulls playoff series against Washington the offense really does not run as effective with Chandler at center due to the fact he does not draw double teams, which keeps the guards from getting any room to shoot, because their defenders are not cheating in. I would actually rather acquire Nene for Curry, because he can play center, and probably draw double teams, and it would allow us to keep Chandler at the four. It is just my opinion however.

Their would be a bright side to having a Murphy and Chandler front court. We would be one of the better front court rebounding teams in the league with two double double guys playing center and power forward not to mention the lengthy Luol Deng at the three. It would probably be one of the top rebounding front courts in the league it might also allow us to start Gordon in the back court, and not worry about losing out on the boards due to having a small two guard.

To me this would be a mistake for the moment unless we can get some valid proof he is ready to play and is at full health. I just don't want to have to take a risk and trade Murphy for Curry and then see Curry going down and having Foyle and Diogu starting. We need to trade Foyle and Murphy IMO if that is possible and get someone like Reggie Evans or use the TE or Dunleavy on a solid PF like Nene. A lineup like this would be nice

PG: Baron Davis/ Derek Fisher/ Monta Ellis
SG: Jason Richardson/ Mickael Pietrus/ Calbert Cheany
SF: Mike Dunleavy or Mickael Pietrus/ Zarko Cabarkapa
    PF: Nene or Diogu/ Zarko
    C: Curry/ Biedrins/ Taft

Not sure that Mully would be able to pull off those deals in time though. But it would be an interesting lineup

I don?t see the Bulls being willing to take a big contract like Foyle?s onto their cap with players like Hinrich, Gordon, Deng, and other valuable players hitting the free agent market in the next two to four years. They are getting Davis? contract off the cap after this season, and have made it clear they are not trying to get into a big (money wise) long term contract with veterans.

a core of Curry/J-Rich/B-Diddy/Dunleavy would be real nice for the Warriors...then you throw in nice role players such as Ike and Pietrus...Curry isnt necessarily a necessity for Golden State, but if acquired, there's no doubt he'd provide some inside help for GS...

Bulls GM John Paxson, however, said there was nothing new to report concerning Curry, who is expected to sign the Bulls' one-year, $5.14 million qualifying offer by the league's Oct. 1 deadline. Curry then would become an unrestricted free agent after the season.</div>
