Hey guys, I've been a windows user since it started and have recently bought an Apple Mac Powerbook laptop.

I was just wondering who in the lounge is a Mac user?
I find MAC OSX to be very intuitive. I havn't read the manuals yet and have found it wuite easy to navigate considering i have NEVER touched a Mac before. If i were beginner on Windows I don't know if I'd be able to pick it up as quickly.

That being said, I'm still not used to it yet. I'm playing around with it and learning new things about it.

I'm also having a small problem with iTunes, but I'll hopefully figure it out soon.

I love Macs. I used them for Media Arts and Communications Tech classes last year. We had both the eMacs and some laptops. I love the Mac layout because it looks so clean and fresh, unlike the boxy feel of Windows.

But I haven't really had an opportunity to mess around in it, so....

Haven't used a Mac since the old days when they were pretty bad...I do have a question though Dakeem, you said you were a Windows user ever since it started, so what made you decide to get a Mac laptop instead of Windows?

I wanted a laptop for music production. Basiaclly a portable music studio.
There are alot of good PC's on the market, but MAC's are supreme when it comes to soound and graphic engineering.

I originally passed the mac's off because I didn't think I could afford one, but then I saw the powerbook on special for AU$ 2800 when the reatail price was AU$ 3400.

I'm not sure about the conversion rates of Aussie $$$ to US $$$ but I think one Aussie dollar is approximately 70 US cents. I could be off 5 cents either way hehehe.
