well, i saw this from hoopshype, so i couldnt get a link. but the website it is from is philly.com(i'm pretty sure). well, i dont know much about this guy except that he is a pretty good blocker, at least he averaged 2.48 blocks per game. here is some info on him that i found on nba draft net: http://nbadraft.net/profiles/hervelamizana.asp it says that he can be a star in this league if he really wanted to. i say sign him cheap and give him a chance.

I have no idea why the 76ers would waste their time on this player. He doesn't do anything Sammy Dalembert or Steven Hunter don't do already. I think the 76ers need to add some bulk in the frontline if anything.

if hes a rashard lewis type player, maybe he can develope his low post offense and his ballhandling, and he can end up being a HUGE pickup. but it sounds like he needs to pick up his game a little bit.

The 76ers already have $12Million invested in Dalembert and Hunter. This kid is lazy, soft, and inconsistent. Those qualities are the kiss of death in the NBA, and he'll get tossed around by grown men when ever he steps on the floor. What would we he add to the 76ers team? Absolutely nothing. They don't need another shot blocker, they don't need a 6-10 player hanging out on the 3pt line, and don't let that Rashard Lewis comparison fool you either. He's no where near the player Lewis is on the court. The 76ers need to add some bulk on the inside. Dalembert is going to break down having to bang inside playing starter minutes. You need someone who can absorb some of the banging and keep Dalembert healthy. They haven't added anyone to replace Marc Jackson's presence on the court.

From the draft report and his oversees stats, it looks as if he's a much better shooter than those guys and can bring us another three point threat. He's supposedly got good athletic speed so perhaps he can back up at the powerforward position or even small forward?
I think the 76ers are just bringing these guys in to fill up training camp spots. I highly doubt any of these players will make the actual roster but you never know. It dosn't hurt to give somebody a chance if you can afford it.
^Agreed, but if this is just going to be another big man signing to boost the line, we already have 4 big men and thats enough for now.
well, like most of you said, i would give him a shot. it says that he can develope into a great player if he trys, so why not invite him to camp to see what he does?
He won't make the team. Although I was high on Lamizana coming out of college I don't think the Sixers will tag along another athletic, rail thin, big man.
