Bad news: Sura injury

He's getting surgery on his knee; out for 6-8 weeks. If his knee doesnt improve after it he will retire. reported on 610 radio

 

WOW...this means we need another point gaurd for sure. Any ideas on who?

Bullcrap. Just when we think we'll have a 100% healthy Sura for a whole season, he could be possibly retiring. Will there ever be a time when we have a full roster?

**** this sucks. Dawson will figure something out though. Jay will could possibly be 100% by midseason, worth a shot.

 

We had way too many guards anyways. It sucks, but there's no desperate need to shop for another point guard. Derek Anderson will fill in nicely, and now maybe Luther Head can get some more minutes.

I'd say we do a 3 for 2 trade. Two of our old PG's and a big man for one good pg and a big man. Can anyone think of anything?

I don't know why Sura would retire He came in with a injured back and broke his finger and came back the next day and had a good game. Mike James proved he can play the starting PG but if we can get J-Will which there is a great chance we can be in the top 5 in the league

thanks. now that i no its going to be only about 1 week i feel alot better.

but in case if hes gone ( not saying that he will be) i rather not sign an players or trade cause head or james could start and they could probaly take up the whole 48 mins for the point guard, if not anderson or barry can take up some minute too. i'm not worried about whos going to start, but i am worried that we are going to sign j-will cause we are like the only team that wants him..............

no J-Will wants a guaranteed deal...he wont settle for a 10-day...

 

Interesting, Dawson even brings up moochie norris about the point gaurd spot, but doesnt mention charlie ward. That clears things up. hah.

Good teh injury wasnt as bad as radio announcement. Seems like he should be okay.
