Man, to think I have to wait another month for the season to start, it's unbearable. I think the Sixers will be the suprise team of the year. I'm telling you all, I got a feeling, this feels TOO much like the '00-'01 team. We are like the Spurs, but I guess we got less talent. We have most of the pieces we need, except for a inside banger. We got the pieces a championship team needs and I think we are going to go far in this years playoffs. Now, don't think I said the Sixers are going to be champions, but I know that this team is built better then last years, and we lost to the Pistons 4-1 (eventually went on to the finals) with Webber who wasn't physically prepared because of his knee (even though he says that his knee was fine and that he just didn't "fit" into his spot. But we all saw how he was hobbling all around the court). I think that if we had a healthy Webber, the real Webber, this would have been a more closer series. The Pistons have always tried to slow down Allen Iverson because most of the time he is the only scoring option for the Sixers. I know Webber did good against the Pistons, but we need Webber to be the old Webber, the Webber that could bang down low and create in the post. With more pieces this year then last year, including Steven Hunter, and instant offense Lee Nailon, and with the experience the Sixers have gained, the Sixers should go to the second round in the playoffs with ease this year.
