Wow, who would've thought it'd come to this http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/powerranking...on=2006&week=-1
I don't see any reason to move us from 21 last week to 30 this week, you know, nothing happend this week with all the 9 teams who were behind the Raptors last week Power Rankings.
Is this a bad thing really? Would it matter if we're ranked 30th, 25th, 20th or even 1st!? Actually lesser expectations result in lesser pressure. Only way to go is up.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting michiganave17:</div><div class="quote_post">Damn i miss vince RIP air canada</div> where did that come from? so random..
Well this a good thing because we aren't going to finish last. It's not like they know more the Raptors than we do. I rather them ranks us low than high, quite honestly.
Since we lost vince everyone has counted us out but we gotta belive in Bosh. Vince diddnt belive in us thats why he left but we have to stick together. just because vince left we cant be down. we have players younger than vince to pull us thru! Vince was good but we have a good bigman wich is a rarety. Forget vince and look ahead. vince was the past or PF is the future. Go Raps!
...? I thought all the bandwagoners left when Vince got traded? EDIT: BTW, isn't it obvious why ESPN ranked Toronto last? Whenever your lose a player of Milt Palacio's caliber, your bound to get worse.

Anyways, it's not really a big deal, I know we won't be that bad, but it's not like I'm expecting big things from the team.

This is the inaugural rankings for ESPN, and the bracketed rankings are from last year. Why else would the Suns have been number 1 and the defending champs third?
At least Toronto is one of their favourite NBA cities. I don't think its that big a deal. Because everyone is doubting them, it probably only gives our young guys a chip on their shoulder to prove everybody wrong.
haha...i'm loving this i think it's GREAT how editors are thinking so low of us...cause now we can do nothing BUT improve in their eyes; these lowly views also haven't seem to be hindering ticket sales, as we're 7th in the league in that department as talked about in the other thread - looking forward to the upcoming season
